Service Protection Manager A leading Financial Services organisation is recruiting for a Service Protection Manager to ensure that all Global Service Delivery compliance, risk/control policies and procedures are agreed through all channels. You will be required to utilise the organisations tools and processes in order to identify, evaluate and manage service risk to agreed standards as well as defining and implementing necessary controls, creating risk profiles and produce effective risk management information to be used my senior management. The successful candidate will undertake sole delivery of service management and improvement activities and make sure that all activities delivered are in accordance with appropriate governance, compliance and operational principles of risk. Main role responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, act as main point of contact for other risk functions, ensure that end to end service management processes are fully understood and own the impact of problems on service, consulting regularly with the client. You will be required to provide guidance to various areas of the organisation to support them in keeping to governance requirements and will be fully accountable for developing and implementing service improvement activities,liaisng closely with the service level manager and service readiness manager It is essential that you have excellent knowledge of business risk areas, preferably from within financial services and have a grasp of IT Security. Strong knowledge of other risk policies, i.e., Data Protection Act and a strong understanding of risk, control and change management is essential.
