C++ / Java Developer - Berkshire - up to £40k + bonus and car allowance. My client is currently recruiting for an experienced developer with both C/C++ development and Java development/support experience. You will be responsible for agreeing designs for new and modified applications (sometimes assisting with or producing high level designs), developing new and modified applications, producing low level designs and test plans where required, in addition to providing 4th line support for applications, analysing problems and assisting in the delivery of fixes. To be considered for this role you will be a highly competent C/C++ developer with Java and Microsoft Windows development experience, familiar with producing low level designs and test documentation, and have previously worked in a large and disciplined project environment. Any development experience in PRO*C and Unix Scripting, and/or experience in developing and supporting within Unix/Linux environments would be highly desired, but not essential.
